We celebrated my darling little niece Lyla's birthday on Saturday, she turned 2.
I made Meg's rainbow cake.
It was very easy and so pretty when you cut into it!
And most importantly, the birthday girl loved it!
I love her big blue eyes!
Happy birthday sweet girl!

When I first stumbled across the Martha and Ash etsy page, I knew I was in for a treat!
The mother daughter team chooses the most exquisite fabrics and turns them into beautiful creations, including pillows, draperies, and dog beds.
Here is a little info. about Martha and Ash.
We are a mom {Martha} and daughter {Ash} with a passion for handmade goods.
The concept of our shop is to provide gorgeous fabrics to the home enthusiast at a fraction of the cost. We don't just order from fabric suppliers, we dig in fabric houses for unique fabrics that speak to us. I guess you could call us....wait for it...
American Diggers.
Our panels are a big part of our passion.
Being a custom drapery workroom by profession, we saw a huge gap between "store bought" and "custom" in both price and quality. Enter us! The draperies that we offer in our shop have the same exact high-end quality as our custom drapery workroom giving you an incredible product at an incredible price.
Recently, we added on a section for our canine counterparts. After tirelessly searching for great looking dog beds, we decided to take matters into our own hands and make some ourselves. Being over the top dog lovers, we get such a kick out of creating each unique one. We have to resist taking them all home with us every night!
I couldn't agree more. I have endlessly searched for the perfect dog bed myself and have yet to find a unique one that is both stylish and comfy.
They are all so generic.
I love this brown ticking dog bed shown below.
They come in all sizes for all different breeds.
But, I particularly fell in love with this chevron dog bed!
Check it out! It is currently on it's way to our home to meet our third child, and lab, Hunter.
I cannot wait to get it!
I think I may have to order another one for another room in our house.....
Or, maybe a matching pillow perhaps?
Martha and Ash also have a fabulous website.
You can see it by clicking here.
