I'm in the middle of packing and cleaning as we are only a week away from moving, but I was able to sneak in a bit of painting this afternoon. This is a piece I had originally done for Mother's Day, but decided to revamp a bit and I have to say I am much happier with this version! It is currently available in my store on Etsy. I hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing, and safe Memorial Day weekend and thank you again for following along on my creative journey!
I am hoping I don't offend any Moms out there, but I have decided to revamp my 'Mother's Day' painting....I think the idea was good, but it would've worked better on a larger canvas. So, I went ahead and painted over the little girl's shoes and will be filling in a bit of the empty space with a couple other vintage goodies, nothing too large as to detract from the heels themselves, but a bit of something, something to add some interest...so stay tuned!
