About every 6 months Mr. Matty and I get an itch for a vacation! We both juggle crazy schedules so a weekend away is sometimes all we can manage. A few years ago we happened upon the most adorable boutique hotel that we now call our home away from home! The 21C is a modern art museum and posh hotel all in one that sits in the heart of downtown Louisville, KY. Think W Hotel meets MOMA but with the price tag of the Holiday Inn. The place is full of quirky and luxury. From a singing chandelier, interactive video walls, and life size red plastic penguins, to down comforters and bath amenities by Malin + Goetz.
