Re-Vintaged Stool

SOLD!














Having sold two of my earlier Re-Vintaged Stools (that were shown on an earlier blog) I feel enthusiastic about making some more. This is the latest, using a very lovely old fashioned floral Chintz I purchased a while back from the lovely Alicia, purveyor of all things glamourous at Time Worn Style.






Alicia, I promised you would be the first to see what I have done with your fabric! I hope you approve!






The lovely old 1960,s scrolly metal stool itself has not been altered and retains the finish I found it in less a quick scrub! Just enough patina and layers of old gold to give it a wonderful sense of character and age. Even the little plastic stoppers are original!
This will be for sale soon in my Ebay Store, post free to anywhere in Australia.
