3"x 5", oil on canvas panel,(available on etsy)

I So enjoyed painting these two mini still life paintings :)...I think they would look perfect in a quaint, little kitchen corner, beside an elaborate garden tea setting, or perhaps atop an elegant vanity... A great gift idea for the approaching holidays (only 11 weeks away!) or a special gift for yourself! ;)
**SPECIAL NOTE: I added this post to the Blog Party over at Funky Junk Interiors as they were having a Vignette Party, so I thought why not show off these little vignettes that I created? :)

"Blue & White Russian Delight," 4"x 6", oil on stretched canvas

"The Old Stove," 4"x 6", oil on stretched canvas,

I took a short break from commissions today to paint these little gems. :)

Tea on the Patio, 8"x10", oil on stretched canvas
(SOLD,thank you!!)

This is a piece I have been working on the past few days...it was actually taken from a photo I snapped of someone's porch chairs, I suppose I could have created a porch painting, but with it being summer I thought a patio was much more fitting.

I replaced the photo today as I realized last night I forgot to add the stems in the hydrangea floral, and I added a bit to the potted flowers...the blue still does not seem to show its true color, it is more of a cobalt on the teacups and periwinkle on the flowers in the foreground, the pink on the flowers is a richer shade of pink...the painting is much more vibrant in person....Paintings always look better in person, I promise! :o)

Fresh off easel, two itty bitty bits of pretty paintings...I'll need to get some better photos tomorrow as the sun is fast asleep :) Both available on etsy. Hope everyone is having a wonderful, family-filled Memorial Day weekend!
